 Let me introduce you to the youth leader of White River UPC Carolyn Ramm Carolyn says: "Lovin' life & livin' for God"! Psalm 37:4 "You've got to have a "MUM"! " What is a "MUM" you might ask? A "MUM" is a "Made-Up-Mind"! |
Sis. Carolyn may be in her mid 40's, but there is nothing "old" about her! She lives life to the fullest and has a burning burden for young people. Growing up the oldest of 7 siblings has taught her a thing or two about life. She makes it no secret that she has not always lived her life God's way, but about 5 years ago that all changed. Ironically, her family was the very first family that the Tedfords won for the Lord when they first started White River. Sis. Carolyn received the Holy Ghost during the first revival that Bro. Easter preached at White River. Life and choices took her down many roads and she tried numerous times to live for God from the outside in, but it never quite worked out. She finally got a "MUM" and that is exactly what she teaches the youth. She now knows that you can't live for God on your own, and it must come from the inside out, not the other way around!
As you can see in her smile, she is a fun loving and energetic person and God has sent her to White River for "Such a time as this"! There is always some activity or fundraiser going on for this youth group as we try to get them to every youth revival, camp, or other youth related service/activity that is at all possible. We dare to dream big!
Sis. Carolyn has one daughter and one son, and one bouncing bundle of joy in her new grandson! She has received her Sunday School Teacher's Certification through UPCI.
